Sufjan Stevens
Singer-songwriter Sufjan Stevens has been toiling about for 15 years on his indie-folk stylings. His latest album, Carrie & Lowell, has earned the 40-year-old some of the best praise of his storied career. The album features plenty of his finger-plucked instrumentation and whispered vocals that soar into falsetto from time to time.
