Longtime Charlotte R&B act Skatfish reunites for a rare group performance with the original lineup including powerhouse singer Donna Duncan and eclectic axeman Steve Cudic. Skatfish was founded in 1988 by musician and filmmaker Sumner Burgwyn. The band is led by the soulful vocal punch of Ms. Duncan mixed with a stew of funky blues and groove based jams where no two shows are ever alike. The band’s popularity led them to open for acts such as James Brown, John Lee Hooker and Albert King as well as supporting performances with the late great Howlin’ Wolf guitarist Hubert Sumlin.
