Always. . .Patsy Cline continues at Theatre Charlotte tonight. The newly formed theatrical and entertainment company, The Producers' Group, brings this premiere production to town. CPCC Summer Theatre's second production, Jekyll and Hyde, continues tonight at Pease Auditorium. The story is an evocative tale of the epic battle between good and evil, based on Robert Louis Stevenson's classic story, but with pop music. If you're aching to get your pre-Independence Day action started, the First Charter Celebrate America might work. The celebration will take place on the campus of UNC-Charlotte on the playing fields adjacent to the Irwin Belk Track and Field Center. After a concert of patriotic songs by the Charlotte Symphony (no word on whether they'll do Santana's "Jingo"), fireworks will begin around 9:30pm. Guests are welcome to bring food, drinks and lawn chairs or blankets to picnic on the grass before the concert. Food and beverages will also be available for purchase.
