Screen@Levine: Salam Neighbor

When: Mon., June 20, 6:30-8:30 p.m. 2016

In partnership with World Refugee Charlotte and in commemoration of World Refugee Day, Levine Museum of the New South will host a film screening of "Salam Neighbor." "Salam Neighbor" tells the story of 85,000 Syrians struggling to restart their lives inside Jordan’s Za’atari refugee camp. For the first time in history, two filmmakers fully embed themselves in the camp, providing an intimate look at the world’s most dire humanitarian crisis. The film screening will be followed by a panel conversation with refugees who are rebuilding their lives in Charlotte. FREE to attend! Registration suggested.
