Not to be confused with the amazing (and real) work being done by School of Rock Charlotte, this touring stage play is based on the 2003 film starring Jack Black, and features all of the original songs from the big screen with 14 new tunes by Andrew Lloyd Webber. It’s hailed as the first musical to feature a kids’ rock band playing live instruments on stage, but we’ve been watching the local SoR kids do that for years.
