RIVER WHYLESS

One listen to this Asheville-based band and you’ll hear its Appalachian roots, which are solidified through the craftsmanship of members including songstress/fiddle master Halli Anderson. Back in July, the group released the EP, The Hunt, and its music was featured in Asheville Visitor’s Bureau’s latest tourism video. Visuals aside, the sounds are alluring enough to draw you to their stomping grounds, but for now you can see them here. (Anita Overcash)
