Rick Pearson aka Rick Solo is currently a DJ at Eden, the Forum and Scorpios. He started his career in Charlotte in 1997 when he co-founded Spindicated Music, a multimedia company specializing in club promotions, advertising, Web design and audio/video recording. Pearson says that he and his company "are on a mission to make good music that brings people together from all races, cultures and backgrounds."

1) Books: "I haven't read any novels lately, but I do have a subscription to Remix magazine because it keeps me up to date on new equipment, computer programs and hot new mixes."

2) Hobbies/Interests: "I spend time with my wife and 2-year-old daughter most of the time, but I spend a lot of my spare time planning and DJing EDM events in the Southeast region. I am also working hard in the studio co-producing Spindicated Music's upcoming new releases."

3) Food: "I really like Dish on Thomas Street. The food is great and it has a cool trendy atmosphere."

4) Movies: "Blood Diamond, 'cause it was based on a true story."

5) Visual Art: "I'm an artist myself. I love to paint abstract, contemporary, nonobjective art. I really like an artist named Kevin Harrison out of Charleston."
