When: Feb. 8-May 17, 10 a.m. 2014

Three artists investigate the human condition and its effects on the environment through conventional representations of nature to push boundaries and offer interesting ways to evoke emotional responses. Ken Hoffman’s anthropomorphic animal portrait paintings convey animal-people expressions & how close humans are to animal counterparts. Brian Mashburn’s chaotic landscape series centers on the unrestrained sprawl of cities, industry pollution, & overpopulation. Kevin Palme’s series is an ongoing study derived from his interest in places, landscapes, & memories
