When: Sat., April 22, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. 2017
Activities will include living history demonstrations of surface and underground mining, hands-on mining activities, general demonstrations and mining related vendors. The California-type 10-stamp mill will be in operation, showing how the rock was mixed with mercury to extract the gold. Visitors will not only be able to pan for gold, but also take their turn on a cradle rocker, take a special guided underground tour and check out the mining vendors and exhibits.
Price: Admission is $5.00 for adults, plus tax, and $3.00 for ages 3-12, plus tax, under 2 are free; Panning will be available and costs $3.21, tax included, for ages eight an older.
