Race for the Cure/Walk for Autism Research

comment

Gentlemen, start your ... walking! October has arrived and that means it's time for two of Charlotte's biggest charity walks of the year. Begin your day philanthropy at Gateway Village, Saturday, Oct. 7 at 6:30am to pick up your registration packet to participate in the 10th Annual Race for The Cure in support of breast cancer research. The Race for the Cure series is the largest series of 5k runs/fitness walks in the world. Help be a part of the solution! If you're feeling like Superman or Wonder Woman (always PC), you can fly up to Lowe's Motor Speedway in time for the Carolinas Walk for Autism Research at 10am. All proceeds from this event benefit Autism Speaks, an international non-profit organization committed to increasing awareness of autism and raising money to fund autism research. Use your Saturday morning to make a difference in the lives of those who suffer with these terrible illnesses. Go for a walk! You never know whose life you could change just by getting some exercise.
