When Matt VanDyke left his Baltimore home in 2006, little did he know that he’d barely make it back. He traveled to Africa and the Middle East, journeying 35,000 miles by motorcycle and documenting his travels by video. He also joined Libyan rebels to overthrow dictator Muammar Gaddafi, which led to six months of confinement by Gaddafi forces. Winner of Best Documentary at Tribeca Film Festival. (Anita Overcash)
