Soaring High Productions hosts this domestic violence prevention/intervention fundraiser and a showcase of stage readings. The event features original one-act play and selected scenes from full-length plays, written by playwrights from New York, Ohio, Virginia, Pennsylvania, North Carolina and even the United Kingdom. Local dramaturges/performing artists will be performing and reading. In addition to the stage readings, there will also be a silent auction. This is a fundraiser to help promote and produce the award-winning domestic violence awareness stage play, “A Change Is Gonna Come," which focuses on domestic violence prevention and intervention. It was selected for the annual Lyceum Series at Johnson C. Smith University.
