Join a conversation with Julia Marie Robinson, associate professor in religious studies, as she discusses her book, Race, Religion and the Pulpit, and examines how the church became the catalyst for economic empowerment, community building, and the formation of an urban African American working class. A reception and book signing will follow the conversation. Complimentary parking will be available in lot at 420 E. 9th Street, directly across Brevard Street from Center City.
