Anyone who has heard of Pecha Kucha knows it's a sure way to get the creative juices flowing. Presenters have six minutes and 40 seconds to share their own personal stories and ideas through 20-second shots of 20 images. The trend has caught fire in more than 500 cities across the globe, and returns to Mint Museum Uptown after a two-year hiatus from Charlotte. The subject matter can be hard to predict, but whether it's related to art, food, science or some other topic, it usually amounts to innovative, inspiring and poetic visions. Best of all, it gives a voice to folks who might not usually get in front of a crowd.
