Thanks to the Japanese, who founded Pecha Kucha, Charlotte has gotten a lot more interesting over the last few years. The event is a hodgepodge of performances and speeches on topics that range from arts and architecture to teaching, travel, environmental issues and life experiences. Each presenter has six minutes and 40 seconds to do their thing with 20 images that are projected onto a big screen. The Volume 11 presenters have been announced, but we don’t want to spoil any surprises. It’s worth the wait. (Anita Overcash)
