Peach Pie is a group art exhibition that offers up a slice of the nuanced identities of women that inhabit the South. Whether or not the artists are expressing their “Southerness” through their work is beside the point, as we are interested in exploring womanhood and identity in the context of locality. This is the third installment of the Pie shows, a series of exhibitions that explores the messy aspects of identity. The exhibition will be showcasing over 40 artists from across the south east. Peach Pie will open June 7, 2019 6-9PM at Goodyear Arts in Charlotte, NC.
