On-street parking spaces are converted into mini parks in order to get folks to think about alternative uses for space. There will be eight parklets sprinkled about on Tryon Street, from the Mint Museum to Discovery Place. They will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The public will vote on their favorite parklet.
