When we read, we learn new things. And when we read together, we learn things not just about the book, but also about the people with whom we are reading. 'Fahrenheit 451' by Ray Bradbury has been chosen as Charlotte Mecklenburg Library’s One Book community read with events planned for April 13-19, 2014, to coincide with National Library Week. The Library encourages adults and teens throughout the Charlotte-Mecklenburg community to read the same book and to come out to readings, book discussions, film showings, and other programs that bring the book’s themes to life.
