New York, NY (January 8, 2020) - Pop/Soul singer, songwriter, dancer, entrepreneur, Ms. Olivia King, has graced us once again. Her newest single Never Thought, is out now on all platforms. This not so typical love song reveals the passion behind King’s seven-year relationship with boyfriend, David Gosselin. Olivia says that being loved so well made writing this song easy. For this single, she teamed up with her friend Roderick Jones and the two finished it in just one hour. They credit their solid, healthy relationships for providing inspiration and ease for communicating their emotions into song lyrics.

“I believe a lot of people can relate to the hook of this song where I sing "Never Thought I'd Be Here…
So many of us go through toxic relationships and have lost hope that love will happen for us. Fortunately, I had that special person come in to my life when I needed him most and he showed me what true, selfless love was. I have never released a song that I wrote about my current relationship so this is definitely way passed due.
When I imagined singing this song live, I envisioned myself in a white gown, singing at my wedding ceremony with a huge gospel choir joining in by the end of the song. With this in mind, I was inspired to invite my friends and followers to sing in my "gospel choir." Never Thought ended up featuring about 10 of my friends and followers and my vision was executed beautifully. I'm so excited to finally share with everyone how happy I've been these past seven years and hope to create a project revolving around this relationship very soon.”
