McColl artist-in-residence Carlos Alexis Cruz has been creating a performance art piece that’s Charlotte-centric. To construct it, he looked to culturally segregated parts of the city, where creativity often flys under the radar. Using dance as a form of communication, he tells the stories of some of the Q.C.’s hidden talents in a contemporary circus-style act.
