If there’s no big Irish act to perform at EpiCentre’s annual Green Party, the next best thing is for there to be a band that has a worthy anthem. Hence, the appearance of Swedish act NoNoNo. Gaining popularity across airwaves in both Europe and America with the single “Pumpin’ Blood,” this cute little synth-pop trio takes the idea of heartbreak and kicks it right on out the door. The music is pleasant enough to dissaude anyone from the tear-jerking, riot-raging emotional sprees often found in Irish rock, and you just can’t help whistling along. DJ Rowshay spins, too.
