A big change at WSOC-TV is in the works, as news director Vicki Montet resigned her job at the city's number one-rated news operation. Little birds had told me Montet's home had been on the market in recent weeks, so perhaps it isn't a huge surprise. But unlike most "I'm leaving, and here's where I'm going" announcements, Montet has been mum as to where she is headed. No replacement has been named yet, but there are some potential in-house hopefuls.
