Before passing away in 2006, Lewis introduced the world to Southern cooking with iconic cookbooks like The Taste of Southern Living. Author Sara Franklin will discuss her new book, Edna Lewis: At the Table with an American Original, a collection of essays from culinary heavyweights about one of the South’s best political activist chefs to have ever lived. And did we mention a chicken dinner from CLT staple Mert's Heart & Soul will provide the perfect ending for this event?
