Gallery Up is presenting a new series of work entitled Need / Want: Subtraction by local artist Lila Shull from November 7 – November 25, 2011. The artist’s reception, on November 17 from 6 – 8pm, is free and open to the public and will include a cash bar stocked full of craft brews. Lila primarily focuses her work around painting and printmaking. Her series combines figurative and animalistic imagery that confronts questions of identity and innate struggles. Up is lucky enough to be hosting her debut solo show!
