Murder on the Catawba Queen

When: Sun., April 14, 2 p.m. 2013

A fun, family oriented, “who done it” play, starring Charlotte celebrities representing the sports, political & media communities. Its purpose is to increase public awareness of, and raise funds for, Disability Rights & Resources, while having a really fun time! The audience will make the decision as to “Who Done It”! The very old and wealthy Patriarch of a very dysfunctional family invites the six members of his family for his birthday cruise on the Catawba Queen. But, the Patriarch’s enjoyment of tormenting them with their poverty & other failings goes too far. As he opens a present of cologne, he is suddenly swarmed by insects, stung, and dies! Was this a freak accident in the middle of Lake Norman, or was he murdered, and if so –“Who done it”? Families are encouraged to attend, the play is appropriate for children age 10 and older.
