So, if you wanted to know more about the Fool's Brigade benefit, here's the scoop:

This year, the proceeds go to Jacob's Ladder Job Center whose mission is to help unemployed and underemployed people find and keep living wage jobs. Volunteers assist them through the process and may also mentor them during the search and after employment. They also work with employers to hire the clients, the majority of whom face major barriers to employment such as lack of education, criminal background, past substance abuse issues and lack of transportation.

Among the bands and musicians scheduled to perform at this year's benefit are: Benji Hughes, Lou Ford, The Sammies, Yardwork, The Noises 10, The Stellas, The Mangles, Chocha Loca, Hardcore Lounge, The Houstons, BabyShaker, Snagglepuss, Raised By Wolves, Virginia Reel, The Black Lashes, Trouble Walkers and Bo White Trio Select, plus and All Star House Band featuring members of Buschovski, Bruce Hazel & Some Volunteers, Poprocket, Alternative Champs, The Catch Fire, tenSpeed, Project Bluebird, Nitehawk, Sea of Cortez, Guam High and Secondhand Stories with Mike Strauss, Randolph Lewis, Bill Noonan, Dylan Gilbert, Miss A., Shane Elks, Nicolette Emanuelle, Erika Blatnik and many more.

Tickets can be purchased via the Neighborhood Theatre's Web site or on-site at Manifest Discs and Tapes, Lunchbox Records and Sunshine Daydreams.
