In conjunction with the 2016 Mad About Modern Home Tour, Ron Crider will discuss mid-century modern architecture and its association with interior design of the same period. In his presentation, Crider will highlight the key design elements that influenced mid-century modern home construction and discuss the variety of decorative arts and interior design approaches used in the period to complement the architecture. Crider will utilize the work of renowned mid-century modern architects to illustrate these key tenets and relate them to the homes featured on the 2016 Mad About Modern home tour.
