McColl artist-in-residence, Robert Karimi facilitates this event, which puts poets and chefs in a competition of creativity — that is, through poetic expression and flavorful food. Karimi, an interdisciplinary performance artist and activist, has done culinary-based projects in the past. His former project, “28 Days of Good Energía,” was in response to Type 2 Diabetes in at-risk communities. (Anita Overcash)
