What were you trying to accomplish on your special day?
Linda: We simply wanted to share our love with both of our families and unite us all as one. We also wanted to honor spiritual upbringing by having the ceremony in a church.

How was your wedding/reception one of a kind?
Linda: One of the highlights for us was during the photo shoot after the wedding, watching our mothers who had never met, and walk off hand and hand into the sunset. The second highlight occurred during the lighting of the unity candle. Lighting the unity candle traditionally involves the couple; we incorporated our 8-year-old in the lighting process, with the blessing of our co-parent, to ensure that he knows that he is the center of our union.
