Canadian electropop singer-songwriter Lights’ most notable single, “Drive My Soul,” brought her numerous Best New Artist awards in her native land back in 2009. The singer has a continuous and rapidly growing fan base leaving her playing countless sold-out gigs, as well as numerous music festivals in the U.K. and U.S. After taking a short hiatus after having a baby, Lights is back and stronger then ever. Motherhood seems to have rejuvenated her creativity. In regard to her 2014 album, Little Machines, she says, “I wound up making what I think is the best thing I’ve ever done.” (Nichole Monshein)
