Looking to be Charlotte's Next Top Model? Then Kristi Stanfill is a person you need to know. As the booking agent for print, TV, and film models at the Evolution modeling agency, a Southeastern branch of the world famous Wilhelmina modeling agency headquartered in New York, she books talent for a number of local and national ad campaigns. "We like to think that we bring a little slice of Manhattan here to Charlotte."

"I have been behind the scenes for over 15 years," she says. "I know what clients are looking for. It helps me prepare our models to go out and do their best. You need a lot more than just raw talent in this business." Stanfill is a former make-up artist/stylist turned booking agent who worked her way from the bottom up.

A pretty face doesn't mean squat. "I see so many people who come in and think that because they are beautiful that I am supposed to bend over backwards to get them work, when in reality there are many beautiful people in this world. I work hard for the models that show me that they are sincere, and hardworking."

"Charlotte will never be on par with L.A. for film or New York for high fashion, but the great thing about what I do is take models who are serious about what they do and help them get to that next level. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing someone you helped develop do well."

Evolution has developed some pretty well known faces: Sports Illustrated swimsuit model/actress Brooklyn Decker, Project Runway model Heather Brown and American Eagle Outfitters model Rachel Scott.
