A fun, family-friendly event which raises financial support and awareness for KinderMourn, a local non-profit that provides counseling to grieving children and bereaved parents. The event includes activities for everyone--music, children’s activities, face painting, bouncers—and culminates with the Duck Race in which over 15,000 sunglass-wearing rubber ducks are dropped into the churning rapids to race for fabulous prizes, including a grand prize of $2,500.00! Beginning March 1st, the general community can "adopt" these adorable ducks at www.kindermourn.org for $5 each, buying a chance to win great prize packages.
