Special Simon Kidgits Club “Book Blast” event to encourage children to read, learn and exercise their imagination featuring excerpts from popular Dr. Seuss classics, live musical entertainment from local children’s performer, Mr. Nigel, Dr. Seuss-themed games, interactive activity sheets and the opportunity to decorate a free library tote bag to take home (while supplies last). Attendees are also asked to bring a new or gently used book for donation to local day care centers, further fostering the importance of reading within the community.
