KEITH URBAN

I’m not quite sure why Australian Keith Urban got pigeon-holed in the country genre, but he definitely transcends the label. Sure, he veers toward the pop side of the road, but, as an underrated guitarist, he also stays on the rock side of the line. Don’t get me wrong — throw on a cowboy hat and/or your boots for this one because he still sings about the stereotypical breakups and pickup trucks with the best of ‘em. (Jeff Hahne)
