We’re coming up on the 20th anniversary of its release, and yet, you’d be hard pressed to find a club that doesn’t still go crazy at the opening strings of “Back That Azz Up,” Juvenile’s classic ode to the hindquarters. The New Orleans native has plenty of other hits, from “Ha” in ‘98 to “Slow Motion” in 2004, he and the Hot Boys provided a soundtrack to the turn of the millenium. Add the fact that he introduced the world to Lil’ Wayne, and it’s hard to question Juvenile’s status as an O.G. in the game.
