The son of alt-country singer Steve Earle, Justin Townes Earle has forged his own path down the Americana highway. Touring in support of his fifth studio album, Single Mothers, a companion album is due in January titled, Absent Fathers. Earle is one of those performers who completely loses himself in the lyrics while singing, letting the song cloak the listener in its warmth and emotion. (Jeff Hahne)
