What's your biggest turn-off?
With the initial contact, if he comes off as if he knows me. You can tell a lot about a person by the way he introduces himself. So, I either like you from the beginning or I don't.
What's been your best cheap date?
I would say, a picnic in the park. We would go get subs or takeout or go to McDonald's or whatever and then we would go to the park and eat. Then we'd walk around the park and see what we see.
What have you given up for your looks in the recession?
Shopping. New clothes, new perfume, jewelry and stuff like that. I had to put other priorities before that. I do my own hair, so that had no effect on me.
What are you doing to reduce your carbon footprint?
When I go out, I just make one trip. I make sure that I go in a circle, if I'm doing my weekly errands; I make sure I plan it well. When I'm going Uptown, I ride the light rail. I live in South Charlotte, so I just park and ride the light rail.
