HISS GOLDEN MESSENGER

Comprised of M.C. Taylor, Hiss Golden Messenger is based out of Durham. With touches of folk and rock, there’s a depth to his songwriting — sometimes dark with soul-searching ballads. Taylor once fronted the country rock-coated San Francisco-based act, The Court and Spark before returning to North Carolina, where he went on to earn a masters in folklore from UNC-Chapel Hill.
