Electro-pop duo Hank & Cupcakes bring their Israel-by-way-of-New-York energy back to Charlotte this weekend. Sagit and Ariel — husband and wife — have played a variety of venues in town, and their music is just as lost at times. One moment pop, one moment rock, one moment funk and all with electronic subtleties. The style might be hard to pin down, but the grooves are always infectious. (Jeff Hahne)
