Forlorn Strangers & Old Salt Union

When: Sat., Sept. 24, 9 p.m. 2016

This Nashville-based Americana quintet offers a blend of folk, country and bluegrass with strong harmonies laid overtop. Guitar, fiddle, banjo, mandolin and bass provide the Appalachian atmosphere, but it’s the group’s vocalizations that provide the depth to the music. The band keeps it upbeat while their voices blend into one. The band’s debut album, Bottom of the Barrel, was released in August.

Price: $10-$12
