Drawing on the director Lindsay Anderson's own experiences and ethos, If… is a coming of age story about tearing down the status quo and rebuilding something new for a new generation both within the narrow genre of film and in society at large. Presented as part of the Bechtler's film series 'Films of 1968: Style, Revolution and The Future.'
