FESTIVAL: Middle East Festival and performance by comedian Ahmed Ahmed

The Middle East Council of The Carolinas, International House and Queens University of Charlotte have teamed up to bring Charlotteans a day of cultural merriment via the Middle East Festival. The fest, held at Queens University of Charlotte, offers a variety of entertainment, including a dance performance by Nairi Armenian Dance Group of Charlotte, music performances by Jaafar and Middle Eastern Jazz Arabic Funk Fusion and more. In addition, you can check out arts and crafts, informational films and authentic food and drinks available for purchase. And, stick around for a post-festival performance by Egypt-born comedian Ahmed Ahmed in Sykes Auditorium.
