JULY 9 -- Four-Course Dinner at Rooster's Wood-Fired Kitchen. Hosted by Eamonn O'Mahoney of Woodford Reserve, this dinner offers a menu consisting of the following: wood-fired Hieronymus shrimp with heirloom tomato and hominy succotash, Woodford brine pork tenderloin surf and turf with scallops, corn souffle and watermelon salsa, duo of grilled beef with smoked paprika reduction and blackberry peach cobbler with cinnamon and bourbon ice cream. $50. JULY 12 -- Beer, Bourbon & BBQ Festival. In its second year this fest brings the beer sippin', bourbon tastin', music listenin', cigar smokin', and barbecue eatin' folks together for good times. Those attending can enjoy more than 60 brews and 40 bourbons along with barbecue tastings. Music will be provided by Gael Warning, Robin Rogers Band and Part Time Blues Band. And there will also be a tasting theater with experts discussing bourbon history, proper pairings and brewing. $15-$40; Free for children 12 and under. JULY 12 -- FACCNC Bastille Day Festival. In celebration of the French national holiday, this festival features French food and wine, music, face painting, juggling and games.
