EXHIBIT: Robert Henri and Ireland

by

More than 40 works (including "My Friend Brien," pictured) painted by Robert Henri between 1913 and 1928 will be on view in the nationally touring exhibit From New York to Corrymore: Robert Henri and Ireland. The American impressionist was always fond of landscapes, but once he visited Ireland, he became fond of people, too. After countless trips to and from the Celtic bog, he finally settled there.
