Artist Darren Goins describes his solo exhibit as exploring "our current lingo of language in text messages and emails; basically the mixing of symbols with the written language." His works (including the pictured "Emoticon Up") consist of neon lights, glitter and silkscreen on transparent acrylic panels, as well as foam rock pieces with hieroglyphs carved into them and works on paper.
