When: Sept. 6-Oct. 26 2013
Finnish photographer Christoffer Relander specializes in multiple-exposure portraits, primarily of faces that have been superimposed with branches, leaves and other natural elements. Shot in black and white with a Nikon D700, the images’ contrast and tones have been adjusted to make them as sharp and harmonious as possible. There’s something mysterious, serene and even ghostly about these images. The exhibit will also feature new works from artists Eleanor Annand and Peter Essick.
