DR. JEKYLL and MR. HYDE

When: Thursdays-Sundays, 8 p.m. Continues through Nov. 6 2011

The respected Dr. Henry Jekyll hides a terrifying secret from his friends; a brutal fiend terrorizes the London streets; a young woman falls in love with a most unusual man. These stories collide as Dr. Jekyll’s friends attempt to save Jekyll from himself and from the most unsavory Edward Hyde. Jeffrey Hatcher tells Robert Louis Stevenson’s classic tale with a modern twist: Good is not so pure, and everyone is a little Evil. This expressionistic stage adaptation offers a chilling fun-house ride through a haunted psyche, exploring mind-altering drugs, multiple personalities and the question of where evil is born.
