Garage Rock Two-Piece, Deaf Poets, will be performing at The Milestone on Sunday Jan 28. Deaf Poets are an American garage / alternative rock duo from Miami Beach, FL. Their music consists of distortion-soaked guitars and hard-hitting drums with influence from The Black Angels, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, and Black Rebel Motorcycle Club. They have toured support for bands such as Matt and Kim, The Naked And Famous, The Peach Kings, Jennie Vee (Courtney Love and Eagles of Death Metal) and shared the stage with Andy Rourke (The Smiths), Unknown Mortal Orchestra, Mac DeMarco, Psychedelic Furs, The Growlers
