Remember being a kid and afraid of all the things that go bump in the night? Well, get over it already! Just kidding. For all you wussies that still jump when the lights go out during lightning storms, there's a Halloween event just for you. Or if need be, use your kids as an excuse for attending. Carowinds' Howl-O-Fest is back for its fourth year of family-inspired spooks and scares. In the full light of day, you can explore the Haunted Hay Bale Maze or the Goblin Groan Foam Zone. Feel free to dress up as your favorite character, although it might be wise to leave capes or anything that dangles at home for safety's sake. Candy will be available from 2-4 p.m. at several stations inside Nickelodeon Central. Runs concurrently with Scarowinds' Halloween Haunt.
