Color and Form in Latin America

When: June 20-Sept. 27 2013

It’s time for a follow-up to Argentina-based artist Juan Dolhare’s captivating solo exhibit at Latin American Contemporary Art Projects (LaCa), the new gallery in the FreeMore West neighborhood. The venue’s second exhibit, Color and Form in Latin America, is now open and includes 50 paintings, pastels, drawings, sketches and prints. The showcased works are by five Latin American artists, including Otto Apuy (Costa Rica), Rafa Fernández (Costa Rica), Wifredo Lam (Cuba), Ricardo “Chino” Morales (Costa Rica) and Jesús Rafael Soto (Venezuela). As the exhibit’s title suggests, the varying works will reflect on colors, lines and other techniques.
